Developed detailed dose maps for the RadioCoil^TM Next Generation Brachytherapy Source. Developed dose maps for second- and third- generation brachytherapy sources under development at the time. Performed nuclear activation and thermal analysis for the manufacturing process at the Fleuris, BE site. Contributed to several SBIR proposals, earning over 1.0 million in grant awards. Provided radiological engineering support to qualify the Tyngsboro, MA site to receive and handle radioisotopes. Trained new employees in radiation safety and nuclear science.

Co-developed optical spectrometer to measure isotopic ratios in the reactor plasma. Designed and built hardware to interface the spectrometer with the diagnostic port on the reactor vessel. Wrote programs in IDL to model and correct for unwanted interference in the diamagnetic loop plasma diagnostic.

Participated in various solid target experiments for Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) research. Worked to develop more efficient x-ray diagnostics, including Micro-Channel-Plate (MCP) high speed framing cameras and x-ray CCD cameras. Improved x-ray imaging software to work in high energy (20-50 MeV) range. Assisted in Rayleigh-Taylor instability experiments on NOVA 2-beam. Participated in setup and alignment of 100 terawatt laser system for "fast ignitor" physics experiments.
